Moving Right Along.

Happy Veterans Day to all who have served this nation in the military. It's easy to forget that, daily, men and women are giving themselves to military service. Although grateful to all, I'm most thankful to (and for) my father. Thanks, Dad.

Today's song is one that one of my best friends turned me to years ago. He was proud of this—generally, I was the one telling him he should hear some song, and he tended to like most of my recommendations. When this song hit the airwaves our freshman year, you'd have thought he had just won Wimbledon with the way he reacted to learning that I had, in fact, never heard it before (I regularly browse blogs for music that hasn't hit the airwaves, but I'm not so hipster that I'll brag to you about it). Now, I can appreciate how mindless music from Taio Cruz was.

Made it back to the gym today after a full week off (sheer laziness), and this is lined up to be the final week on the program from LL Cool J' Platinum Workout plan—bought the book a few years ago and finally started this summer. The gains have been substantial, too. My family noticed that I'm filling out shirts better (and this was in August); finally on my way to the shoulders I've always wanted—although it's a full-body workout plan.

Incidentally... 5-year high school reunion is in a couple of weeks. Not saying I've been lifting in preparation, but... won't hurt, right? Happy coincidence.

Life's a blur right now. With those two things going on, between my job as an instructional associate and as a sports reporting intern, and with cranking job applications, my respite comes from socializing (or hiding with whatever mindless entertainment I can convince myself to watch on Netflix and/or Hulu+).

No complaints, though, because this is an exciting time in life. Practically finished formal education, and have high-flying career aspirations. I have far more confidence in my future than ever, and found incredible clarity this morning. Between reading articles detailing the highly specific set of circumstances under which the Rebels can win the SEC West and make it into the CFP, and visiting nearby restaurants I've failed to sample before now... I'm exactly where I should be. Hopefully, you are too.

Happy Tuesday.

P.S.: Gave up early on the Novembeard. Prefer the clean-shaven look.
